Re: Who will win?
For Champions League my picks for the first knockout round are as follows:
Atletico over Porto
Barca over Lyon
Roma over Arsenal
Man Utd over Inter
Real Madrid over Liverpool (I think Liverpool could pull it out though)
Chelsea over Juventus
Villarreal over Panathinaikos
Bayern Munich over Sporting
Atletico over Porto
Barca over Lyon
Roma over Arsenal
Man Utd over Inter
Real Madrid over Liverpool (I think Liverpool could pull it out though)
Chelsea over Juventus
Villarreal over Panathinaikos
Bayern Munich over Sporting
Re: Who will win?
I'm not at all sure of any of the four English ties, but hey I'll lay it on the line:
Atletico over Porto
Barca over Lyon
Roma over Arsenal
Inter over Man United
Liverpool over Real Madrid
Juventus over Chelsea
Villareal over Panathinaikos
Bayern Munich over Sporting
Atletico over Porto
Barca over Lyon
Roma over Arsenal
Inter over Man United
Liverpool over Real Madrid
Juventus over Chelsea
Villareal over Panathinaikos
Bayern Munich over Sporting

Re: Who will win?
These are very interesting ties. As far as the English teams go, they could all advance or they could all be out, which should make for some great matches.
Porto over Atletico
Barca over Lyon
Arsenal over Roma
Inter over Man United
Real Madrid over Liverpool
Juventus over Chelsea
Villareal over Panathinaikos
Sporting over Bayern Munich
I really think Sporting can pull off the upset. They're healthy at the moment and have been playing well.

I cant decide between Juve and Chelski
Villareal over Panathinaikos
Bayern Munich over Sporting
And for all of the skeptics, Barca is going all the way this year.
Cheers

Re: Who will win?
I CAN'T wait. But aren't we 2 weeks away?
and by the way, Gerrard BETTER be back for Liverpool-Madrid, otherwise... you know. They'll lose.

Re: Who will win?
Ya its 2 weeks from now, and it is going to be fantastic!
Btw... i completely agree w/ you about Gerrard. Liverpool is in trouble even with him in the line up i think.

Re: Who will win?
Yeah, my bad. I saw that the UEFA Cup was next week and got mixed up since they're usually played on the same weeks. Lets see how our predictions hold up.

Re: Who will win?
Liverpool without Gerrard does not necessarily mean they will lose. Beat chelsea this weekend and Man u earlier this season with him! Are you saying that Madrid are better then both of those teams?
Thought not.

Re: Who will win?
I don't follow your logic. Liverpool beat Chelsea and United WITH Gerrard. I'm saying they will lose if they are WITHOUT Gerrard (for whichever legs he is out). They barely beat Portsmouth without him and they lost to Everton.

Re: Who will win?
If I were a betting man, I'd call a 0-0 draw at the San Siro and a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford to see Inter through.
