Absolutely dreadful performance by United. No creativity, no cohesion.

I think in terms of how Man Utd played, today they looked just like they did over the weekend. They've looked like a solid team, but there hasn't been any creativity in either game. Basically they don't look like the defending champs.

I think Macheda should get a chance off the bench in the next game...not that Owen is a complete bust already, but he's had a few good chances in these two games. Maybe Macheda can put those away, and just provide some sort of spark or excitement.

I'm going to try to refrain from laughing at Man Utd too much, but what a way to start the season. Haha.

Just like to point out that if I were a Liverpool supporter I'd make a comment at how silly Scousers are while glossing over this loss...but again, the side was completely unimaginative and should take many lessons from this loss.

The glaring problem for me in this match was Ji-Sung Park. Whenever he's in the side there is zero creativity, zero urgency, and zero chances up front. Look no further than the CL final.

The goal looks better and better the more I see it. Foster wasn't as out of position as I originally thought. Just a heck of a shot. Can't wait to see how the next few games go for Man United and the so-called top 4.

Some nice inconsistency for Man U (as with Pool). 5 - 0 away today.
