Who does everybody think is the MVP since the season is at the halfway points? I pick LBJ hands down. LeBron is on a whole different level. People say Kobe, but Kobe has a much deeper team around him. LeBron continues to do it game in and game out every single year. He has Mo Williams now, but that doesn't make Cleveland unstoppable. King James is my MVP.

Who does everybody think is going to win the Dunk Contest tonight? I'm picking Dwight Howard to repeat because he says that he has even more gimmicks up his sleeves for this year, so I can't wait to see what he's got!!

Dwight really disappointed me last night. I really thought he was going to do something more spectacular. The dunk off the side of the backboard was sick, but everything else wasn't as great. I think Krypto-Nate was a lot more creative. D-How was a great sport though in being a prop for Nate's dunk. Nate definitely deserved to win.

I really hope LeBron sticks to his claim that he will be in the dunk contest next year. Him, Krypto-Nate, and D-How would be fantastic to watch!

Who do you guys think will win the All-Star game tonight? I think the East will, maybe it's because I'm biased, but I think it will be a wicked high scoring affair as usual, probably somewhere along the lines of 150-140 or something ridiculous like that.

I don't know how many of you watched the All-Star game last night, but it was quite the spectacle. As much as I hate Kobe, it was very deserving that him and Shaq shared the MVP. Shaq had an outstanding night (not just game) in Phoenix. His routine with Jabbawockeez was phenomenal! His through-the-legs pass to CP3 and dunk afterword was fantastic! I voted 220 times for Shaq for MVP, and I'm glad it all paid off! haha

So the trade deadline has passed, not too many majors moves.

A couple of key moves though:

Brad Miller to the Bulls, Rafer Alston to the Magic, Larry Hughes to the Knicks, Jermaine O'Neal to the Heat, and Shawn Marion to the Raptors.

Thoughts? Does anybody think that now with Hughes on the Knicks that they can make the playoffs? right now they are only 3 games back of a playoff spot and Hughes is a great addition I think.

If they did make it, it would still be a first round exit, but will they make it is the question.

What do you guys see as the finals match-up?

if the Celtics don't make it, i would love to see the Cavs against the Lakers because i would love to see LeBron absolutely demolish Kobe over a 7-game series.

Well it's almost time for the NBA Finals! Kobe and the Lake Show are officially in it...but who will be taking them on? Will D-How and the Magic eliminate the Cavs and move on tonight or will King James and Co. force a Game 7 and move onto the finals?

Predictions?

Unfortunately i think Orlando will take it...they are just such a difficult team to matchup with in my eyes.

so my early pick for next years NBA Champs belong to: Cleveland Cavaliers

I cannot wait to see SHAQ and LEBRON playing TOGETHER!!!! it is going to be fantastic...shaq just needs to be as productive as he was last season. My favorite player (shaq) is now playing with the best player (lebron) and i cannot even begin to believe what next season is going to look like!

so i watched the ENTIRE NBA Draft last night. When it came time for the Celts' pick there were still a lot of good guys on the board even though our only pick was pick #58. So who do we draft? No not Jerele McNeal from Marquette, not Dionte Christmas from Temple, not Robert Dozier from Memphis, but Luther Hudson from the University of Tennessee-Martin. Talk about random. He actually was the #2 scorer in college basketball last season behind Stephen Curry, but seriously??? There were waaaaay better guys from bigger conferences available. Danny Ainge you are killin' me!!

Good college players don't always translate into good pros. It's a completely different game.

I doubt he'll make the team but you never know.
