I'll be setting up a MLS fantasy league next month. Let me know if you'd be interested in joining. It's just for fun and you'll also be competing against everyone else who plays and you'll be elgible to win some prizes.

The league is on www.mlsnet.com and is a salary cap style league. We'll have our own divison where we'll all sign up and have our own team. The site will keep track of our divison as well as everyone in the world who signs up to play. So you'll have 2 rankings, one in our divison and one for everyone. They have prizes, usually for the top 250 people. I think they had something like 13,000 teams last year. It's fun to do, you root for players when you watch random games.

I heard that MLS will be making sign ups available sometime this week. If they don't I've already found another site that we can use. I'll let you know sometime this weekend.

I have created the league. Just go to www.mlsnet.com and sign up. Once you have created an account you must choose to join a league. It's a private league.

You can't view the rosters of other teams until each week begins. That way you can't copy what other people are doing. I didn't make it that way, it's an mlsnet.com rule.

I've got a few sleepers on my team who I think are going to surprise some people.

This fantasy league just makes me more antsy for the season to start. I've got a few sleepers too, but I may leave them on the bench week 1.

Same with preimership fantays you can only see players team from the previous week, you can make one sub a week without a points deduction, every sub in the same week after your first costs you 4 points, your captain doubles his score for the week, you also get a wildcard once each season, when you use that you can do as many transfers as you like with no points deduction ( always best to save that for jan transfer window)

Hey Blackburnbob, the rules are a little different for this league. You are allowed unlimted subsititutions each week but are limited on transfers each week. Just look at the rules section of the site, they're pretty simple, there aren't many. It also states the scoring system that is used for scoring points.

About your earlier post about all the former Prem players, you'd probably make a solid team if only chose those players. Convey, Angel, McBride, Keller.

Darren Huckerby too, they all quite expensive though, not sure if you could fit them all in, my bad on the previous post, i meant transfers through lol 1 transfer a week is allowed, wildcard allows free unlimited transfers one time only, subs are automatically used if one of your other players does not play, in the order you selected your subs.

The season starts on Thurs. so make sure you have your roster set so that your team can score points.

First game of the season is on Thurs. night with Seattle playing New York.
