Xbox 360 NTSC Game retailers??

Anyone know of any good importers (to the UK) of NTSC-J games? Only way i can play baseball is to get MLB 2K8 or The Bigs in Jap format, they are apparently full english and work, i'm only aware of play-asia but they are out of stock on both Managed to get demo's from the US Marketplace but no Sox in those!!! booooo

NTSC is the region coding for the US and Asia, NTSC-U is USA and NTSC-J Japan etc, our region is PAL, i'm gutted though, PS3 has them all region free, and i sold mine!!!

From what i read The Bigs and MLB 2K8 will work on PAL if you buy the NTSC-J versions. Man i hate region coding, can't see why they can't just make all games region free!!

Ya that is ridiculous! How are you supposed to play games that aren't sold in your own country?!?!?! That's so stupid...i really have no idea how to get around that.

PS3 you can play any game from anywhere, 360 games are locked though, some are region free too though, problem is 2k sports won't make baseball games for the 360 in europe so we cant play, they wont make them region free so we can import, so my only option is japanese versions of the 2 games mentioned as they work on PAL systems for some weird reason.

Playing MLB 2k9 demo atm and i love it!! Just sucks i cant have the game unless i buy a PS3 again which i can't afford to do! We still get NBA,NHL and NFL games though just no b/ball!!

That is so strange...i am quite glad that we really don't face that problem on this side of the pond. haha

I think we get some PAL only games same as you get NTSC only, Superbike springs to mind, but like baseball thats more favoured on this side of the pond, makes em wonder though, instead of locking the region, why dont they region free them so the minority abroad who do want them can just import them without messing around?

I completely agree with you...the logic does not make sense. they could be making so much more money!

unfortunatly, region coding is because of currency rates etc.
its much cheaper to buy games in the US then the UK, a la modern warefare 2 being 55pounds, and the US its just $60.

I say hail PS3 and it's region free strategy!!!
