It's official. Manchester United have accepted an £80m offer from Real Madrid for Ronaldo. 'At Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player,' say the club

Look on the bright side Tay the guy was a complete arse, only weeks ago he was spouting how he loved Man U and was staying put, now look @ him, better without imo, can buy some good talent with that kinda money

there is the potential to be better without him...it all depends on how the team overcomes the adversity that is being presented to them Andy...(best player in the world fyi imo)...although you can never fully replace a player like ronaldo you can restructure your team to fit a different mold.
United will be able to cover for the loss...it just may take some time to gel the team and get them playing at their peak...they are Manchester United and they will figure it out.

Fact is, without Ronaldo these last two seasons, Man u wouldn't have won two leagues and a champions league.
I'm gonna put Chelsea as my early favourites to win the title next year.
