As above after their 4th defeat of the season is this is it for Liverpool? I can't see them winning anything this year, they haven't looked brilliant with the golden 2 in, without them as proven they are a mid table team (under Rafa's guidance anyway!) Rafa has to be due some credit for finding Torres etc but then he let Alonso go and it's all going south, i for one am gutted because i wanted to see United not win it!! But i can only see Chelsea or Arsenal taking it to them now. Present form i would say the gunners are looking best but you never can tell. All i can say is it's too late for Pool.

I don't think it's too late for Pool. They just need to get their act in gear immediately because if they struggle for much longer than it will be over for them before it even started.

OMG Jose in the Prem! Yes, BUT: I would like to see him win CL this season WITH INTER before he does anything else. I have a vision of Wesley Sneijder launching a 30-yard 90th minute goal to beat Real Madrid, and Florentino Perez's face draining of color as he thinks about what went wrong. Then Sneijder can run over to the Real fans in an Adebayor-esque gesture, and Mourinho will do something similar. What a beautiful picture.

I'm writing off Liverpool for the Prem. My new favorite is Arsenal. I wouldn't be surprised at Man Utd or Chelsea though.

I still don't think Liverpool will win the title, but this was a hell of a game. They played very very well. Man United played alright, but they haven't had an edge to them this season. They're a very good team, yes, but I'm putting Arsenal and Chelsea ahead of them for this season. And Liverpool behind them, despite a great performance. (And a Gerrard-less performance.)

Handful of questionable penalty non-calls. I'd say 2 pretty clear ones: Berbatov on Kuyt and Carragher on...Berbatov? It was the hard slide that the FSC commentators initially called a hard but clean tackle, and on seeing the replay decided maybe not so clean.

Don't have a chance of winning the title. It not that they are too far behind, it just with the current squad playing the way they are (the defense esp.) i don't see how they could pick up more points than Chelsea (clear favourites atm).

And no to Jose, I would not like to see him at 'Pool.

The only way it's not Chelsea/United is if Arsenal manage to beat them both and keep up their current form (last game exception)

Arsenal and Chelsea will finish 1 and 2, although I'm unsure about the order. Man United 3. No idea who will be 4th.

I think the best team at current is Arsenal but with all these injury's and Jan transfer window coming up, i'm not putting money on anyone, atm Chelsea look really shaky as do United, hate to say it but if things stay as they are i think United will do it. BUT if Chelsea do get Aguero/ Suarez among other names and United buy Carlton etc it's a new ball game. PS Will someone please bring Huntelaar to the premier league he is top class!!

Personally I'm really rooting for Arsene Wenger, my favorite person in England period. When I say person in EnglandI'm talking about people overall in England; like, I put Wenger one spot ahead of Jimmy Page and two ahead of David Gilmour.

I wouldn't go that far because a) Wenger is French b) he is nowhere near as much a legend as those 2, but yeh i like him as a manager and i like the wya he get's Arsenal to play, tbh i would rather watch Arsenal than anyone else at present because they play exciting football.

I know he's French, I just mean people that are in England, regardless of nationality. I hope Mourinho manages Liverpool next. And by next I mean next season, as soon as he wins CL for Inter.

Well rafa "again" has GUARANTEED a top 4, my point is, if he is that confident why doesn't he do everyone a favour and put his job on it?

Yeh i would quite like to see him say that if he doesn't reach this top four guarentee, then he'll leave without the massive pay off.

Put his money where his mouth is.

Agreed. I just flat out don't like him. He's a tactician, not a manager. I always go back to that Gerrard quote from over the summer, that he hasn't once in his life had a conversation with Rafa that wasn't about football. What kind of manager is that?

That's your captain, by the way, Rafa. That's also one of the leaders on the England national team, and the one whose teammates look to him in desperate moments, the one the team historically lives and dies with. You know, the guy you should have some sort of relationship with, that sort of thing.
