Tottenham are surely through to the final, and as long as United can beat Derby then they'll be through.

Who do you all think will win it? My money's on United.

Tottenham will definitely move onto the final...and United should easily beat Derby. It was a great run for Burnley and Derby, but we will be seeing a fantastic All-Prem final! I'll pick United to win it all.

I can't imagine it going any other way. It's not going to be easy for Untied to win the Premiership title or Champions League this year, so they're going to make sure to win this one so they at least have one trophy in the bag.

I mean at least 3...they won the Community Shield too!! Every trophy counts for something in my book. Who cares if it not part of the treble?

Half time. 1-0 Derby off a beautiful Commons goal. I'm hoping it'll be a repeat of yesterday's Spurs match.

United really need to sort themselves out.

Embarrassing defeat for United. Can't believe they've lost it.

No drive going forward, no urgency, and Derby clearly wanted it more.

Couldn't agree more. I definitely was surprised at how good Derby looked. I think we all knew they would put it all on the line, but they didn't just put ten men behind the ball and clear it repeatedly. They actually had a good counterattack game and had a handful of decent scoring chances throughout the game.

But yeh, United will dominate the 2nd leg, of course they will

So the Carling Cup final is not so surprisingly Tottenham v. Man United.

On the podcast I picked Tottenham to win it all, so i guess i have to stick w/ that pick.

Giles Barnes once again proved why he's a wonderkid on Football Manager. He's a class player.

Oh man. I was watching Barca at the time but I just saw a 20 minute highlight of the Burnley-Tottenham game. Wow. What a heartbreaking end. Or elating, if you're a Spurs fan.

Another note: after the game Redknapp said outright that he's resting pretty much everyone this weekend in the FA cup vs. Man United. I guess that's good news to United fans.

Anyone actually watch this game live, or have any other thoughts?
