Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
yes and it's all because all of the players are buying into the system that David Moyes puts forth. He is a genius, and it has shown this season.
Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
ok so Burnley is about to knock west brom out of the FA Cup, one reason why i picked them as a surprise promotion bid out of the Championship. WOW!
Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
That's not as good a story as tomorrow though. There will be 5 Prem teams playing for their FA Cup lives.
Villa at home to Doncaster
Blackburn home to Sunderland
Liverpool home to Everton
Picks anybody?

Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
Well i guess I'll get it started and i'll pick goal scorers, assuming they play.
Villa (Heskey)
Sunderland (Jones)
Everton (Arteta)
Does anybody want to argue otherwise?

Big John scoring for Villa? interesting pick. i'd really like to see that happen. he's a monster.
Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
Hahahahahaha. Andy - why would we say Everton will win? Because they did!
Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
Who just won? Everton? No they couldn't have beat Liverpool...o but they did!!! YEAH!!!!
Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
It was only due to the unforseeable circumstance that was Gerrard coming off with an injury in the 16th minute. Simple.

Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
It's a team sport mr. pini. Everton played the best as a TEAM. As a result they won. You can't blame injuries on Liverpool's complete failure.
Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
Ya good stuff for Rovers...i really thought Sunderland was going to win it once they scored so early.

Excuses won't put Liverpool back in the FA Cup. Evra, Rooney, Rio, Hargreaves, Scholes, Carrick, Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson, Ji-Sung, Brown, Neville, and van der Sar have all been hurt this year. That's no excuse.
Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
Red card for 2 bad tackles didn't help either, Everton were best team on the night though by quite some way, Jagielka in particular was awesome, they say Torres wasn't 100% but Jagielka did a wonderful job of making Torres' life hard tonight

Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
Yes Everton were better. ...because Gerrard wasn't playing. Forget about the word "excuse." If Gerrard were playing it would have been a totally different game. Liverpool had no presence in the midfield, even when it was 11 on 11. Brian, I agree that Man United have persevered thru injuries, which evidences my point that no player on the planet is more important to his team than Gerrard is to Liverpool. Yes, that implies a heavy dependency on one player, which is a weakness, but it is also the reason the game tipped heavily in Everton's favor. (I am talking about facts, not mind games.) And I also applaud Everton for a gutsy game as tight as their last two meetings.
ps. I hate Lucas Leiver.

If these injurys carry on, i have to say Villa are looking more and more like a 2nd/3rd place team!

Re: FA Cup Round-Up (Prem Teams)
I think they really do have the potential to finish 3rd, but I don't know about second. Believe though, i would LOVE for them to finish 2nd!
