Bottom three predictions
What are your predictions for the bottom three this year? Here's mine:
18. Bolton
19. West Brom
20. Stoke City
I think Bolton are a mess and have only gotten worse over the summer with El-Hadji Diouf departing. West Brom and Stoke just don't have enough to cut it in the Prem. I think Hull will surprise a few people, they've made some good signings in Geovanni and Boateng.

Re: Bottom three predictions
There's no way that both Fulham and Bolton go down this year. If either of them get their act together then they're a decent side, and I expect at least one of them will do so.

Stoke
Fulham
Bolton
Hoping not Rovers next couple of games will give a good indicator

Re: Bottom three predictions
Wow, I am shocked that so many are tipping Fulham and Bolton for relegation. How different Bolton's story is without Big Sam.
Re: Bottom three predictions
Can't see Bolton going down, but Fulham looked poor against us, considering we have no where near the quality as most teams in the league.
Whats everyone think to Blackburn?

Re: Bottom three predictions
I think if we keep the team we have now we will be fine, if we lose Warnock/Santa Cruz etc then we may well be screwed, but if our opening performance is anything to go by we should be fine, end of the day we lost Bentley and Friedel, i think Robinson is a good replacement for Brad and Villanueva and possibly some more mid fielders coming in, i don't see a problem, only possibly with team spirit if Ince get's it wrong, which is my main concern tbh

Re: Bottom three predictions
The guvnor will keep Rovers afloat. I predict fith place for Blackburn. I think the bottom 3 will be:
18 West Brom
19 Fulham
20 Stoke
West brom will regret not keeping Phillips.

Re: Bottom three predictions
Yeah, Rovers certainly aren't going to find themselves anywhere near the bottom three. I see them in 6th or 7th.
I can't see West Brom or Stoke surviving...but I think Hull will surprise a few people.

Re: Bottom three predictions
Don't know Rovers have lost quite a few good players, and a good results against a poor Everton team has really indicated anything, i can see i bottom half of the table position for them this year. Especially if they lose Santa Cruz.

Re: Bottom three predictions
Good point, but if they get Joaquin and Zigic, then they'll definately cause alot of teams trouble.

Re: Bottom three predictions
Rovers lost 2 key players in friedel and Bentley but i believe they have been replaced with equal players so i don't see any real problems. Biggest problem for me is cb/lcm/st, we need to put more effort into getting Roque and Benni playing well together, i don't rate Roberts at all, he has had a few alright games but overall not too good for me
