I am not a fan of that black thing across the chest...kinda weird looking.

You can check it out here: http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid={48C41513-A376-4D1F-981D-660FC5BB193E}&newsid=6635120

i understand that its to signify united's inaugural season back in 1909, and its the 100 yr anniversary and all, but i just don't like the look.

Have to say apart from Rovers' kit, which i have always loved, my fave kit was the bright Yellow Wigan away shirt!!

My all time top kits though would be:-

Blackburn Home 94-95 season!!!!
Celtic Away around same period, was striped black and luminous yellow!
Newcastle away same time again was purple and blue
Last but not least, Liverpool's original Green away kit with Candy sponsor, couldn't say the exact year but was late 80's i think

as i've only been following for a much more limited time than you, i really don't have as many kits to choose from. my favorite BY FAR though is the manchester united all black kit...that thing was gorgeous and really made united look dangerous on the pitch...that would be the one kit i would buy if i had the money of course haha

Just to clarify to Mr. Fisher...Newton Heath Club was founded in 1878, and became Manchester United Football Club in 1902. Not sure where you're getting your numbers.

Just to clarify Mr. Lofrumento...its celebrating the kits that were worn during the 1909/10 season which was the inaugural season of Old Trafford opening. I apologize for not making that clear.

I still don't like the kit hahaha

To be honest, I absolutely love the kits! Have you seen the goalkeeping kits? Absolutely brilliant.

Not my type of kit, i much prefer kits that are bright or have something going on, United Pool and Chelsea always seem to have boring one tone shirts!!

Here's my top shirts (that i remember anyway, memorys going now lol!!)

I actually really like the goalkeeper one...i saw that yesterday...it looks really cool but for some reason i just don't like the black stripe across the rest of the jerseys.

If instead of a V it was a diagnol stripe it would look a lot like Riverplate.

I'm not saying one team copied the other, just saying they look alike.
