Manchester City 0-1 FC Midtjylland
City lost 1-0 at home to FC Midtjylland in the first leg of their UEFA Cup qualifying tie. Shocking defeat...

Yes, they weren't exactly stunning on the opening day of Prem action either.

I thought they were going to be fairly competitive this season, seems like another case of Sven makes a good team then everyone else that follows fails

Sven should never of been sacked from City.
And Hughes shouldn't of left Rovers. He should of waited 'till Fergie retires.

Have you seen how high they are ranked!
Its mental. I read somewhere its because they play loads of games against second rate countries?

Re: Manchester City 0-1 FC Midtjylland
Yep, they play the likes of Bermuda during World Cup qualifiers. Funny, they can NEVER beat the US when it matters...we knocked them out of the 2002 World Cup and we always beat them in qualifiers (unless it's at the Azteca Stadium which is in extremely harsh conditions).
Re: Manchester City 0-1 FC Midtjylland
Bet they go further than England. I.e. actually get to the World Cup finals
