What does everyone think on this? I think he will be uneccessary at the Gunners and he would have been better joining the black cats for regular first team action.

He isn't that good a player. The only good thing is that he is a step up from Senderos. He's missed out on his United testimoniel too.

Yeh he isn't the best player in the world but Arsenal certainly need defenders. Good buy for me.
