Every top player in the world is linked with them. I don't know whether to believe if they'll truly be the next world power. What do you all think?

I think they're rapidly ruining the game.
I don't blame them, if the moneys they, you obviously spend it. But how will teams like Portsmouth, Everton, Middlesborough and even Spurs, Newcastle and Villa cope with this.

PREMIER LEAGUE
RIP?

The Premier League started to die when Abramovic bought Chelsea, they are now just taking it even further, won't be long before it dies completely.

Yep the top 10 clubs will all be bought out eventually and everyone else will form their own championship, as far as can Man City do it? I think so, maybe not this season but next season if they keep Hughes i think they could, Hughes i believe to be an excellent manager he did wonders for us with no money at all, he has a good eye for strikers, got Mcarthy and Santa for us at bargain price's. With money at his disposal i think he could well do it. Chelsea did it, they were bottom half team 15 years ago when Hoddle was managing them, now look they are top 4 consistently

As a City fan myself, I must say I am absolutely chuffed about the takeover!

Signings like Torres, Fabregas and Kaka in January, can't wait!

The only thing I am worried about is that we are going to run away with everything!!!!!

Don't get carried away. You'll need to finish 4th or higher before you start getting players of that quality to consider joining. Recent comments made by Buffon, Kaka, Fabregas reflect this.

The only player you could get would be Fabregas, Torres and Kaka will not leave. Nor will Ronaldo, which you prob don't want anyway. David Villa has said before he doesn't want to leave, and can't see that Robinho himself will carry you to 4th place and Champions League football.

Not to be mean,

Even with all the golddust from Arabia I still think Mark Hughes should have bided his time and waited for the 'hot seat' at Man U.

But during this current ression good luck to Man City. They must just hope the Arabs do'nt pull out as some have predicted.

I can't see City doing much this year, but next year when they have moulded i can see them being serious contenders, i personally rate Hughes as one of the best managers in the premiership was a big loss for us
