I agree about the way MLS is run. I hope the players get at least some of what they want in this CBA. And I think they will surprise a lot of people with how much the owners give in to. I understand the difficulty the owners (well, the commissioner) face, because the league here is set in a totally different environment than almost every other league in the world, and definitely all the big ones. But I'm a sort of US soccer nationalist, and I do hope the players get guaranteed contracts and free agency either now or within 4 or 5 years.

Plus my dream job is the General Manager of an MLS team, which doesn't exist in its normal sports-setting form without free agency. So I need it sooner or later.
