van der Sar Clean Sheets
Now I'm not trying to jinx anything, but I want to know what everybody thinks about this. VDS hasn't allowed a Premier League goal in almost 20 hours of football! Looking ahead, United's next three matches are as follows:
Feb. 18th: Fulham (Home)
Feb. 21st: Blackburn (Home)
Mar. 4th: Newcastle (Away)
It may not look like he'll let in goals, but scattered between those matches is an FA Cup 5th round match, a Champions League 1st Leg match, and the Carling Cup final.
Between February 18th and March 4th - an 18 day stretch - United will play 6 matches! They are bound to give up some goals.
Now that is fixture congestion at its very worst!!

Re: van der Sar Clean Sheets
VdS won't be playing in the Carling Cup final, and I'd be surprised to see him in the FA Cup.
Re: van der Sar Clean Sheets
Well Taylor, here's what I have to say: he probably will let in a couple, although I'm guessing no more than 3 between the 3 league games you mentioned above (hopefully Clint Dempsey will score Fulham's 4th away goal of the season on the 18th). But the bottom line is still wins, and as long as they do that and the back line remains solid then I'm sure Van der Sar will be content.

O i wasn't hinting that VDS would be playing in those 2 matches...i was hinting that maybe the defense might get stretched a little thin over all those matches that he will be tested more often than he has over the last 20 hours.
Re: van der Sar Clean Sheets
I can't see any clean sheets there, Rovers always core against united, yeh its usually only one and we usually lose but we normally score one, Newcastle if they play right could sneak one in, Fulham too they are playing very consistent at present, but Man U are just producing 1-0's at the moment so who knows?
